Options like radiofrequency ablation are excellent for quick recovery and long term relief of pain.  Through a special needle, a thermal "burn" of the sensory nerve is accomplished, disrupting the pain signal from joints in the spine or leg.  The pain signals are stopped at the area of burn, providing relief of the pain signals.
